In November 2013 students from four high schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District held a walk to raise money for needy students on their respective campuses. In prior years the Cat Walk has included students from Chaffey and Ontario HS. The 2013 walk added the Colony Titans and Valley View HS, so the name was changed to the Titan View Cat Walk.
Funds raised by the Titan View Cat Walk are used throughout the year to provide items like a back pack of food for the weekend. Funds raised are put in a dedicated account at the Student Store and disbursed as needed upon recommendation of faculty members on behalf of needy students.
Walkers pay an entry fee of $5 and also solicit sponsors at $5 each. CHS, OHS and Valley View walked from their respective campuses to De Anza Middle School and back; Colony HS walked around Creekview in South Ontario. The 2012 Cat Walk raised $3000; the goal for 2013 was $5000. Each high school keeps the funds it raises.

Even though the Cat Walk is over for the 2013-14 school year, interested CHS alumni can still be sponsors by sending $5 or more to the Alumni Association, designated for the Cat Walk. Sponsorships will be acknowledged in the Tiger Rag and aggregated into a single donation for CHS needy students.
Checks can be mailed to the Chaffey High School Alumni Association, 1245 N. Euclid Ave., Ontario, CA 91762.
