This is the Chaffey High School chorus under the direction of Nate Brown, CHS Music Director, singing the alma mater, The Orange and the Black.

The Orange and the Black, Chaffey’s alma mater, connects alumni to current students on campus. The tune is said to be based on Princeton University’s alma mater, The Orange and the Black, which can be found in Carmina Princetonia, the songbook of Princeton University, 1968 edition. The first verse was written by Mrs. Lana Conger, CHS Latin teacher. Miss Laura C. Rice, CHS English teacher, wrote the second and third verses.
