During her years at Chaffey, Niki was a member of the Scholarship Society for all four years; was ASB Treasurer and served on the Fasti staff her senior year and was basketball homecoming queen in 1958. During this time, she worked for Frank Stiffler Photography in Ontario – the official photographer for CHS senior pictures.

The Board of Directors of the Chaffey High School Alumni Association is pleased to announce that Michael Dean “Mickey” Moneta, M.D., Class of 1974, has been selected as the 2019 Tiger of the Year. Mickey was nominated by his classmate Jim Brulte ’74 and 1997 Tiger of the Year.
Phyllis White Bogard ’57 has had a distinguished career as a medical doctor and psychiatrist. At CHS she was on the National Forensics Debate Team for three years, a class officer and student council member, a delegate to Girls State, Fasti editor and a graduation speaker.

While a student at Chaffey, Gary was extraordinarily active, serving Associated Student Body (ASB) President, Sophomore Class Vice President, Key Club President, and Interclub Council President. As an athlete, he lettered in both football and baseball and was named an All-League baseball player. Gary was also an academic honor student.

David Forden, D.Min., or as he is currently referred to, Chaplain (Colonel) David Forden raised his right hand in 1981 and promised to defend the United States against all powers, both foreign and domestic, and to defend the Constitution. With that, he become a Chaplain in the US Army so that he could provide emotional and spiritual support to all soldiers, sailors, marines, airman and coast guard personnel on the battle field and in any area.

Nancy’s early careers included medical transcription at Santa Barbara County Hospital and technical writing for SysteMetrics, a health care research company in Santa Barbara. In 1981 she returned to Ontario to join her parents, Helen and Jerry DeDiemar, in their printing business.
